Reduce slip-and-fall accidents outside your home with HeatTrak’s Heated Outdoor Walkway Mat. This electrically heated mat is designed to prevent snow and ice accumulation on walkways around the home. The mat is portable and plugs into any standard 120V outlet generating heat to melt snow at a rate of 2-inch per hour. The HeatTrak Residential Walkway Mat is made of customized thermoplastic material and is designed to be left outside for the entire winter season. Each mat is designed with watertight connector cables enabling it to connect to additional Walkway Mats or Safety Treads. A customer can connect up to five Residential Walkway Mats, 15 Safety Treads, or a combination thereof (up to 15 amps) on a single control unit (sold separately). The HeatTrak Control Unit has a built-in ground fault circuit interrupter (GFCI) and comes with 6-feet of cord. Every group of heated walkway mats requires a GFCI controller (sold separately; Model No. HR-P). If you don’t buy a GFCI controller, your mats won’t work. This Item Requires a 120V electrical outlet.
