Just connect the ProFX12 to a laptop, start up your included copy of Tracktion 3 Music Production Software (or almost any DAW software out there) and you can record the whole mix. You can even stream music from your laptop during breaks. Once you get home, record more tracks or use the ProFX12 to playback some tunes during your next party. Unless you’re anti-social, don’t have the right kind of place for a party or are just sick of buying food and beverages for everyone. The Adam Equipment CQT 202 Core conventional, or precision, balance has a capacity of 200 g and an accuracy of 0.01 g (also called readability), and a liquid crystal display with a character height of 18 mm that can be backlit for better readability. The stainless steel, 120 mm (4.7”) diameter pan is corrosion resistant, and can be easily removed from the base for quick clean-up. Three-point overload protection prevents damage to the load cell if too-heavy samples are mistakenly used.
This top-loading balance weighs in nine different units: kilograms, grams, pounds, avoirdupois ounce, carat, avoirdupois dram, grains, Newtons, and Taiwanese taels. The calibration function ensures repeatable measurements. This device is battery-powered with six AA batteries, or the supplied AC adapter, and the auto off function can be enabled to power off the balance automatically to conserve power. A built-in security slot for locks and cables protects the balance from unauthorized use or theft. The balance can be stacked and stored on top of other Core balances with 120 mm diameter pans, with or without the draft shield, to save space. Warrantied by manufacturer for two years.

H is height, the vertical distance from lowest to highest point; W is width, the horizontal distance from left to right; D is depth, the horizontal distance from front to back.
Balances are measuring instruments used to determine the mass of an object, while scales are used to measure the weight of an object. The measurement results from balances are generally considered to be more precise compared to results from scales. Mechanical balances are the simplest type of balance, and use a lever and slide to indicate the measurement. Moisture balances analyze moisture content in a material sample, using infrared or halogen heat sources to dry the sample and then calculate the moisture content from the before- and after-drying weight, and display results digitally, on the balance, or transfer the information for display on a computer. Analytical balances measure to a high degree of precision and accuracy (0.0001g or better), and display results digitally. These balances have a cover with doors to prevent dust and airflow from affecting the measurement. Conventional balances are commonly used in offices, the jewelry industry, and in kitchens, and display results digitally, but are less precise and accurate than analytical balances.
