Dewars are implosion proof and safe to use with LN2, dry ice, solvent mixtures, and hot fluids. They can also be used as a hot bath. Molded double-wall construction withstands temperatures from -196 to 100degC (-321 to 212degF). Flasks are made of chemical and corrosion resistant high-density polyethylene (HDPE); annulus is filled with insulating CFC-free urethane foam. Metal tabs keep lid securely in place. Broad-base design reduces the chance of accidental spills. Polyethylene-coated bail-type steel handle ensures added security and ease of use. All models include a vented, insulated HDPE cover, molded in ribs, securing tabs, and pour spout.
